*What should my child wear to classes?*

 

For dance classes, students are typically encouraged to wear form-fitting attire that allows for ease of movement, such as leotards, leggings, dance shorts, or fitted tops. You can purchase uniform here

 

For footwear, we generally work barefoot for the style of dance however trainers are encouraged for Hip Hop. For cheerleading, cheerleading shoes are suitable or lightweight trainers. 

 

Hair should be securely tied back, and jewelry should not be worn. 

 

*Can parents stay and watch classes?*

We do not allow parents to watch sessions for numerous reasons. The main being, that we find children work better if there are no parents watching. They can tend to keep running over to you which interrupts their learning (and fun!).

*How can I pay for classes?*

​

Our classes work on a subscription service by classforkids. This is to ensure the start of classes aren't affected by an influx of people paying on the door. You can book a 2 week trial on most classes.

*What if my child misses a class?*

​

We understand that occasional scheduling conflicts may arise. If your child misses a class, they may be able to make up the missed session by attending a similar-level class within the same session, subject to availability. Please notify us in advance if your child will be absent from a class. Refunds or credits for missed classes are typically not available, but exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances.

*Do you offer performance opportunities?*

Yes, we provide various performance opportunities throughout the year, including showcases, competitions, and community events. Participation in these events is optional but highly encouraged, as they provide valuable performance experience and help students build confidence and teamwork skills. Details about upcoming performances will be communicated to students and parents via email, our website, and/or our social media channels.

*Do all classes do competitions?*

No, only our competition classes do these and those teams are invite only or as a result of a successful try out.
